CytC / Anti-Cytochrome C, mitochondrial antibody

CytC / Anti-Cytochrome C, mitochondrial antibody

Cytochrome c is a component of the electron transport chain in mitochondria and it accepts electrons from the complex III and transfers electrons to the complex IV. In Arabidopsis, CytC contains two isoforms CytC-1 (AT1G22840) and CytC-2 (AT4G10040).

PhytoAB has PHY0600S antibody, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of CytC derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT1G22840, AT4G10040. We also have PHY0021S for CytC (AT1G22840, AT4G10040).

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Medicago truncatula, Zea mays, Solanum tuberosum, Sorghum bicolor, Oryza sativa Indica Group.
