PsbTc / Anti-PsbTc subunit of Photosystem II antibody

PsbTc / Anti-PsbTc subunit of Photosystem II antibody

PsbTc subunit is encoded by the chloroplast genome and having a molecular mass of about 3.8 kDa. PsbTc can be identified as a low molecular mass component of the isolated CP47-RC subcomplex. Deletion of the psbT (c) gene results in increased sensitivity to photoinhibitory stress.

PhytoAB has the PHY0350 antibody for PsbTc, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of PsbTc derived from Arabidopsis thaliana ATCG00690.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus, Zea mays, Glycine max, Nicotiana tabacum, Gossypium raimondii, Oryza sativa Japonica Group, Solanum lycopersicum, Vitis vinifera, Physcomitrella patens, Medicago truncatula, Triticum aestivum.
