ATP5 / Anti-ATP synthase subunit 5, mitochondrial antibody

ATP5 / Anti-ATP synthase subunit 5, mitochondrial antibody

Mitochondrial F0F1-ATP synthase is also called Complex V and it synthesis ATP from ADP and Pi using the proton motive force created by respiratory electron transport. ATP5 (AT5G13450) is a subunit of mitochondrial F0F1-ATP synthase in Arabidopsis.

PhytoAB has antibody PHY1014S, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide derived from C-terminal section of ATP5 protein in Arabidopsis thaliana AT5G13450.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Populus trichocarpaSolanum lycopersicum.
