  Background:

Sal1 phosphatase (AT5G63980) is a bifunctional protein that has 3'(2'),5'-bisphosphate nucleotidase and inositol polyphosphate 1-phosphatase activities. It is involved in the response to cold, drought, and ABA as well as the degradation of small mRNAs. It has been shown that Sal1 phosphatase regulates light-dependent repression of hypocotyl elongation and flowering time via its 3'(2'), 5'-bisphosphate nucleotidase activity.

Lane 1: 10 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf .
Lane 2: 25 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 3: 50 μg total protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Electrophoresis: 15% SDS-Urea-PAGE
Transfer: blotting to NC (nitrocellulose) membrane for 1h.
Blocking: 5% skim milk at RT or 4℃ for 1h.
Primary antibody: 1:2000 dilution overnight at 4℃.
Secondary antibody: 1:20000 dilution using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Cat# PHY6000)
Detection: using chemiluminescence substrate and image were captured with CCD camera.
