PsbB / Anti-CP47 subunit of Photosystem II antibody

PsbB / Anti-CP47 subunit of Photosystem II antibody

CP47 is one of the components of the core complex of photosystem II (PSII). It binds chlorophyll and helps catalyze the primary light-induced photochemical processes of PSII. CP47 is encoded by ATCG00680.

PhytoAB has the PHY0058A antibody for PsbB, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of CP47 subunit derived from Arabidopsis thaliana ATCG00680. We also have PHY0319 antibody for the same gene PsbB.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Physcomitrella patens, Spinacia oleracea, Medicago truncatula, Gossypium raimondii, Spinacia oleracea, Brassica napus, Nicotiana tabacum, Setaria viridis, Populus trichocarpa, Vitis vinifera, Cucumis sativus, Sorghum bicolor, Nicotiana tabacum, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Triticum aestivum, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.
