CSP41b / Anti-Ribosome associated endonuclease (CRB) antibody

CSP41b / Anti-Ribosome associated endonuclease (CRB) antibody

CSP41 protein has been shown to bind and cleave chloroplast RNA in vitro. Arabidopsis thaliana genome encodes two copies of this protein CSP41a (At3g63140) and CSP41b (At1g09340), and they interacts each other physically. It has been suggested that CSP41a and CSP41b have a role in chloroplast ribosomal RNA metabolism, most likely acting in the final steps of 23S rRNA maturation.

PhytoAB have developed PHY0158 antibody for CSP41b and also validated by CSP41b mutant protein. In western blot, lane 1 is wt and lane 2 is CSP41b mutant leaf protein (30ug loading).

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Gossypium raimondii, Solanum tuberosum, Solanum lycopersicum, Vitis vinifera, Brassica napus, Nicotiana tabacum, Brassica napus, Zea mays, Cucumis sativus, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Oryza sativa Japonica Group, Medicago truncatula, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.
