Background:	BZR2/BES1 is a nuclear transcription factor and a key positive regulator of brassinosteroid (BR) signaling. It accumulates in the nucleus in its dephosphorylated form in response to BRs. It coordinates plant growth and stress responses, in part by modulating flavonol biosynthesis.
