Background:	CDSP32 is a chloroplastic thioredoxin-like protein. It functions in cell redox homeostasis and responses to oxidative stress and water deprivation. It is a specific electron donor to 2-Cys peroxiredoxin, with higher efficiency than canonical thioredoxin. The protein is redistributed to the chloroplast envelope under heat stress.
