Background:
Choroplast protein phosphatase TAP38/PPH1 is required for efficient dephosphorylation of the LHCII anthena and state transition from state 2 to state 1.
RPS8 is one of the primary rRNA binding proteins. It binds directly to 16S rRNA central domain where it helps coordinate assembly of the platform of the 30S subunit.
