Background:	GORK is a guard cell outward potassium channel. It belongs to the Shaker family K+ channel. It forms a heteromeric K(out) channels with SKOR. The expression of GORK is suppressed during agrobacterium-induced tumor formation and increased in response to water deprivation and cold.
