MIND, ACCUMULATION AND REPLICATION OF CHLOROPLASTS 11, ARC11, ATMIND1
Background:
MIND is a Ca2+ dependent ATPase required for correct positioning of the chloroplast division apparatus. Its ATPase activity is stimulated by AtMinE1, a topological specificity factor.
AGD3 is a member of ARF GAP domain (AGD) which has 15 members in Arabidopsis, AGD3 belongs to the class 1, together with AGD1 (AT5G61980), AGD2 (AT1G60860) and AGD4 (AT1G10870).
DRP1A encodes a dynamin-like protein related to phragmoplastin. Mutations in this gene, in combination with mutation in ADL1E, result in defects in embryogenesis, cell plate formation and trichome branching. Also controls vascular patterning in combination with VAN3 and GNOM. DRP2B and DRP1A participate together in clathrin-coated vesicle formation during endocytosis.
