ABA2 / Anti-Xanthoxin dehydrogenase antibody

ABA2 / Anti-Xanthoxin dehydrogenase antibody

ABA2 is a cytosolic short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase involved in the conversion of xanthoxin to ABA-aldehyde during ABA biosynthesis. It plays important roles in angiosperm physiology and survival, including driving stomatal closure, inducing seed dormancy and aiding desiccation and salinity tolerance.

PhytoAB has antibody PHY1199S, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of ABA2 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT1G52340.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus.
