CENH3 / Centromere-specific histone CENH3 Antibodies
Centromere-specific histone 3 variant (CENH3) is a fundamental protein of the centromere throughout the cell cycle and a marker of active centromeres. It plays a key role in kinetochore assembly, microtubule attachment during cell division, and the proper segregation of chromosomes.
Currently, researchers have not only studied the structure and function of CENH3 but also analyzed the active centromere sequence based on the characteristics of centromere-specific CENH3. These have significantly advanced the in-depth study of its function and evolution.
