ADGP / Anti-ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase antibody

ADGP / Anti-ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase antibody

ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase (ADGP) is the catalytic isoform responsible for ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase activity. The presence of ADGP is required for large subunit stability. ApS1 is the major small subunit isoform present in all plant tissues tested.

PhytoAB has the PHY0244S antibody, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of ADGP derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT5G48300.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica rapa subsp. Pekinensis, Zea mays, Oryza sativa Japonica Group, Hordeum vulgare subsp. Vulgare, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Solanum tuberosum, Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme, Spinacia oleracea.
