CRT3 / Anti-Calreticulin-3 antibody

CRT3 / Anti-Calreticulin-3 antibody

Calreticulin (CRT) is an endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-localized chaperone-like lectin that plays a crucial role in promoting the folding and maturation of newly synthesized glycoproteins and retaining incompletely/mis-folded proteins in the ER through its specific binding to monoglucosylated aspariginelinked glycans. And the CRTs are including CRT1 (AT1G56340), CRT2 (AT1G09210), CRT3 (AT1G08450).

PhytoAB has antibody PHY1459S the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of CRT3 protein derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT1G08450.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus, Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Spinacia oleracea.
