Enolase / Anti-Enolase antibody

Enolase / Anti-Enolase antibody

Enolases are key glycolytic enzymes that are highly conserved in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms and are among the most abundant cytosolic proteins, is a metalloenzyme responsible for the catalysis of the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PG) to phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP), the ninth and penultimate step of glycolysis.

PhytoAB has PHY0213 antibody for enolases, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of Enolase derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT2G36530.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica rapa subsp. Oleifera, Solanum lycopersicum, Brassica napus, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Oryza sativa Japonica Group, Zea mays, Triticum aestivum, Spinacia oleracea.
