RP-L16 / Anti-50S rpl16 ribosomal protein L16 antibody

Ribosomal protein L16, which is a constituent of 50S large ribosomal subunit. mRNA encoding one ribosomal protein, L16, accumulates in all rapidly proliferating tissues including the shoot and root apical meristems and lateral root primordia.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Populus trichocarpa, Solanum tuberosum, Spinacia oleracea, Gossypium raimondii, Vitis vinifera, Solanum lycopersicum, Nicotiana tabacum, Glycine max, Triticum aestivum, Setaria viridis, Medicago truncatula, Hordeum vulgare subsp. Vulgare.
