YCF3 / Anti-YCF3 antibody

YCF3 is essential for the assembly of the photosystem I (PSI) complex. In Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, it seems to act as a PSI specific chaperone facilitating the assembly of the complex by interacting with PsaA and PsaD.

PhytoAB has PHY0440S antibody for Anti-YCF-3, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of YCF3 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana ATCG00360.

 Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Cucumis sativus, Gossypium raimondii, Populus trichocarpa, Solanum tuberosum, Nicotiana tabacum, Vitis vinifera, Oryza sativa Indica Group, Zea mays, Triticum aestivum, Hordeum vulgare subsp. Vulgare, Glycine max, Solanum lycopersicum, Spinacia oleracea, Physcomitrella patens.
