PGK1 / Anti-Phosphoglycerate kinase 1, chloroplastic antibody

PGK1 / Anti-Phosphoglycerate kinase 1, chloroplastic antibody

Phosphoglycerate kinase is an ATP-generating enzyme that acts in the glycolytic, gluconeogenic, and photosynthetic pathways. Chl-PGK is encoded in the nucleus and translated to produce a 50 kDa precursor protein and is then processed into mature 43 kDa in the chloroplast.

PhytoAB has PHY0405S antibody for PGK1, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of PGK1 derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT3G12780.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Zea mays, Oryza sativa Indica Group, Solanum lycopersicum, Triticum aestivum subsp. Yunnanense, Triticum aestivum subsp. Tibeticum, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence in Solanum tuberosum. For more species homologues information, please contact tech support at tech@phytoab.com.
