PsbR / Anti-PsbR subunit of Photosystem II antibody

PsbR / Anti-PsbR subunit of Photosystem II antibody

PsbR is the subunit of photosystem II (PSII) with a molecular mass of 10 kDa. This subunit appears to be involved in the stable assembly of PSII, particularly that of the oxygen-evolving complex subunit PsbP. Mutants defective in accumulation of PsbR have reduced amounts of subunits PsbP and PsbQ in PSII.

PhytoAB has the PHY0110A antibody for PsbR, the immunogen is KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide of PsbR derived from Arabidopsis thaliana AT1G79040.

Among 25 analyzed species, the sequence of the synthetic peptide used for immunization is 100% homologues with the sequence in Brassica napus, Brassica rapa, Gossypium raimondii, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, and 80-99% homologues with the sequence inCucumis sativus, Nicotiana tabacum, Nicotiana tabacum, Solanum lycopersicum, Solanum tuberosum, Vitis vinifera, Populus trichocarpa.
